I'm sorry to see alotta folks're are under the weather. Midnight Prayer When I toss n turn and winds begin to wail I go outside with shadows n nightingales where I sense someone gone or is it something ghostly an old force from afar watching me closely now, some rehearse their souls their sins are memorized me I tear my spirit so it spills into the skies during my midnight prayer when I'm low, when I'm hurt Lord, I look for you, on one knee then on two down in the dirt during my, during my midnight prayer I look up and know some stars I see tonight died out long ago leaving just their light so sometimes I wonder when I kneel and pray will I die 'fore my prayer passes the Milky Way but you already know my ev'ry request for you're in my heart Lord, you're in my breast during my midnight prayer when I'm low, when I'm hurt Lord, I look for you, on one knee then on two down in the dirt during my, during my midnight prayer there's madness in the moon mercy in summer rains rage in mountain rivers love in rosey plains but some whisper softly some won't speak aloud they humble their thoughts and keep their hearts bowed but me, I raise my voice beat my chest, shake my fist because of my passion Lord, you know I exist during my midnight prayer when I'm low, when I'm hurt then I look for you, on one knee then on two down in the dirt during my, during my midnight prayer (c)2002 Robert George ------------------ [This message has been edited by couchgrouch (edited 06-02-2002).]
