Disaster’s womb Verse There’s a call for revolution A dire need for a change. What we once thought of as normal Is looked upon as strange. It’s a time of reinvention But where does this road lead? We put faith on trial in public Bring justice to its knees. Pre chorus The quatrains foretold a prophecy. Told of what was to be. We’ve swallowed the lies been hypnotized Blinded by the peacocks eyes. Chorus I’m hoping the world awakens. Arises from its tomb That a savior will be born From disaster’s womb. Verse It’s a time of introspection. We search within our souls. Where we once looked to the bible. The church has lost its hold. It’s a time of desperation. A world ruled by self -greed. Where we once thought about others We now sow selfish seeds. Pre chorus The quatrains foretold a prophecy. Told of what was to be. We’ve swallowed the lies been hypnotized Blinded by the peacocks eyes. Chorus I’m hoping the world awakens. Arises from its tomb That a savior will be born From disaster’s womb.
