I remember "Angie Baby" well. It was an unusual song for the times. Early 70's pop music wasn't that deep. This song made the listener actually think. The song was like an episode from "CBS Radio Mystery Theater", which was pretty popular at the same time. What was also unusual was that Helen Reddy sang it, but she was on top of her game at the time and was very popular. In the long run, she was the best choice.

I was more into "album rock" when "Undercover Angel" was playing on the radio and remember being saturated by that song. I admit that I couldn't stand to hear it any more. Now the song is nostalgic.

"Rock And Roll Heaven" is a real classic. I think it was Alan's best.
